Three hearty recommendations this month....

First, the brilliant West Cork Podcast on Audible. I have never been a big fan of crime (as a genre, as opposed a thing I do or have done to me, which I obviously don't like) but this gentle, intelligent, painstaking investigation into a murder in Cork in the 1990s is wonderful.

Second, the excellent Netflix documentary series The Defiant Ones which follows the careers of Jimmy Iovine and Dr Dre as they develop and move through the music industry to the point of selling their Beats company to Apple for zillions of dollars. It's incredibly engaging with Dre portrayed as one of the greatest musical innovators ever.
